What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for QZT products?
QZT MOQ depends on the product category. Most hidden camera models start at 20 units per SKU. Voice recorders start at 50 units per SKU. Sample orders of 1-5 units are accepted for product evaluation before bulk commitment. Specific MOQ for each model is shown on the product page price tier table.
How does QZT wholesale pricing work?
QZT publishes four wholesale tiers per product: sample / small batch / wholesale / bulk. The tier table appears on each product page and shows unit price in USD. Final quotation can still depend on packaging, memory card requirement, document support, and shipping plan. Sample-order prices are credited toward the first bulk follow-up purchase.
Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes. QZT accepts sample orders of 1-5 units for product evaluation. Sample order cost is fully credited toward your first bulk follow-up purchase from QZT. We recommend sample testing before bulk to validate fit, app workflow, packaging, and audio or image quality for your market.
How long is a QZT wholesale quotation valid?
Standard QZT wholesale quotations remain valid for 30 days from the issue date. After 30 days, we re-confirm component cost and shipping rate before re-issuing the quotation. For long planning cycles, contact QZT sales to discuss a fixed-rate framework agreement.
Can QZT match a lower price from another supplier?
QZT does not compete on the lowest price. We provide stable supply, warranty support from the Italian operation, OEM packaging service, and EU certification document support. Buyers comparing only on unit price should evaluate landed cost, return rate, and after-sales burden as well.
How do I request a formal price list?
Submit your target product list, expected order volume, and operating country through the QZT contact form. Our Italian sales team replies within one working day with a formal quotation, applicable tier prices, and lead time.

Payment & Invoicing

Accepted methods, VAT handling, and Italian invoices.

What payment methods does QZT accept?
QZT accepts bank transfer (SEPA / SWIFT) to the Italian corporate account, PayPal, and Western Union. For new accounts, standard production terms are 30% T/T deposit before production and 70% balance once goods pass quality inspection and are ready to ship.
Will QZT issue an Italian invoice with VAT?
Yes. QZT Electronics SRL is the Italian operating entity and issues formal Italian invoices. For Italian buyers, VAT applies at the standard rate. For EU B2B buyers paying through a company bank account to our Italian corporate account, VAT may be zero-rated under EU intra-community rules. Confirm your VAT number and shipping country during the order confirmation step.

Can QZT support letter of credit (L/C) payment?
L/C payment is supported for large bulk orders above the standard threshold. The L/C terms must be confirmed by both sides before order placement. Contact QZT sales for the L/C draft format and required shipping documents.
Do I need to prepay the full amount?
Standard QZT terms are 30% deposit before production and 70% balance after quality inspection passes. Full prepayment is not required for verified buyers. For sample orders under 1000 USD, full prepayment may be requested to start production immediately.
How do I get an order receipt for accounting?
QZT issues a commercial invoice from QZT Electronics SRL with order details, VAT line where applicable, and shipping summary. The PDF is sent to your registered email address once payment is confirmed. Hard copies can be included with the shipment on request.

Shipping from Italy

Dispatch times, couriers, customs, and damage handling.

Where does QZT ship from?
QZT ships from the Italian warehouse located in Nola, Italy. Items in Italian stock dispatch in 1-2 working days after payment confirmation. For models temporarily out of Italian stock, lead time will be confirmed on the order acknowledgment.
How long does delivery take inside Europe?
Standard delivery within Italy is 1-3 working days after dispatch. Delivery to other EU countries is typically 3-7 working days depending on the destination and the selected courier. Tracking information is sent once the shipment leaves the Italian warehouse.
Does QZT ship outside the EU?
Yes. QZT ships internationally from the Italian warehouse to most countries. International shipping cost is quoted per order based on weight, destination, and selected service level. Customs clearance is the buyer responsibility unless a delivered duty paid (DDP) service is explicitly agreed.
What couriers does QZT use?
QZT works with DHL, UPS, FedEx, and local Italian couriers for European delivery. Courier selection depends on order value, destination, and required delivery speed. Buyers can request a specific courier during order confirmation.
Are CE / RoHS documents included in the shipment?
When a product is supported with CE / RoHS documentation, the declaration of conformity is included in the shipment paperwork or sent by email after dispatch. Confirm document requirement during order confirmation so the certificate format matches your destination market.
What if the shipment arrives damaged?
Inspect the package before signing for delivery. Photograph any visible damage to the outer carton and the product. Send the photos to QZT after-sales within 48 hours of delivery. We work with the courier claims process and arrange replacement or repair under the QZT warranty terms.
Can QZT consolidate multiple SKUs into one shipment?
Yes. Buyers ordering multiple SKUs receive a consolidated shipment from the Italian warehouse to reduce shipping cost and customs handling. Consolidation is standard for orders over the small-parcel threshold.

WiFi band, apps, storage, pairing, and battery questions.

Which WiFi band do QZT WiFi cameras support?
Most QZT WiFi cameras operate on the 2.4 GHz band. Confirm that the target WiFi network broadcasts 2.4 GHz before installation. Cameras will not connect if the network only broadcasts on 5 GHz. Dual-band routers are compatible when 2.4 GHz is enabled.
Which app does QZT camera use?
Most QZT WiFi cameras use the Tuya Smart app. Some module variants use the HDlivecam app. The exact app is listed on the product page. Both apps support live view, recording playback, motion alerts, and account sharing. Download the app from Google Play or Apple App Store before unboxing.
What storage does QZT camera support?
Most QZT cameras support MicroSD storage up to 128 GB. Voice recorders typically support up to 64 GB or 128 GB depending on the model. The exact storage cap is on each product page. MicroSD cards are not included by default. Confirm whether you need QZT to supply cards with the order.
How do I connect a new camera to WiFi?
Insert the MicroSD card, power the device, open the matching app, and follow the in-app pairing flow. The pairing usually involves scanning a QR code shown by the app and entering the WiFi password. QZT provides multilingual setup videos on request for distributors who need installer training materials.
What if the camera will not connect?
Check that the WiFi network is 2.4 GHz, that the password is correct, and that the camera has been reset to factory state. The reset procedure is in the product manual. If pairing still fails, QZT technical support provides remote guidance through the Italian operation during European business hours.
How long does the battery last on QZT voice recorders?
Battery life depends on the model and recording mode. Q70 supports up to 400 hours of standby and long active recording. Q1 supports shorter runtime in a more compact body. Specific runtime in continuous recording versus voice-activated mode is listed on each product page.
Does QZT camera record audio?
Most QZT WiFi cameras record audio along with video. Local law on audio recording varies by country. Confirm that covert audio recording is permitted in your operating jurisdiction before deployment. The app allows audio to be disabled on the camera setting if required.

Warranty & After-Sales

Warranty terms, return process, defect handling, and repair service.

What warranty does QZT provide?
QZT provides 12-month warranty support from the shipping date for standard product orders. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, recording function failure, and component failure under normal use. Damage from misuse, water exposure, or unauthorized disassembly is not covered.
How does QZT handle defective units?
Notify QZT after-sales within the warranty period. Send photos or video showing the defect along with the order number. The QZT team evaluates the case, provides remote troubleshooting where applicable, and arranges replacement or repair under the warranty terms.
Does QZT support local returns in Europe?
Returns are handled through the Italian operation. Buyers ship the defective unit to the Italian warehouse for evaluation. Once the warranty case is confirmed, QZT covers return shipping for the replacement back to the buyer.
What is the typical QZT product defect rate?
QZT internal quality inspection targets a defect detection rate below 1 percent before shipment. Every product receives a 100 percent quality inspection before leaving the Italian warehouse. Field defect cases are tracked and used to improve future production lots.
Can QZT provide technical support after delivery?
Yes. QZT provides remote technical support for setup, app pairing, storage, and basic operation. Lifetime technical support is available for verified buyers. Support runs during European business hours from the Italian operation.
What if a unit fails outside the warranty period?
QZT offers paid repair service for out-of-warranty units when parts remain in supply. Buyers ship the unit to the Italian warehouse for evaluation. QZT provides a repair quotation before any work is started.

Does QZT support OEM packaging?
Yes. QZT supports silk-screen logo on the product, custom packaging box, sticker, user manual customization, and carton labeling. OEM MOQ depends on the customization level. Confirm the artwork file format and print method during the OEM brief.
Can QZT supply a custom user manual in my language?
Yes. QZT prepares user manuals in Italian, Spanish, French, Polish, and German on request when the order volume supports the customization. The buyer provides the source content or a template, and QZT formats and prints the manual for the production run.
What is the OEM lead time?
Standard OEM lead time is the production lead time plus the artwork sign-off cycle. Most OEM orders complete in 25-40 working days from artwork approval. Complex customization (custom enclosure, custom firmware) takes longer. The exact lead time is confirmed on the order acknowledgment.
Can QZT modify product firmware?
Firmware modification is available for selected modules at a higher MOQ. The change scope, expected behavior, and test plan are confirmed before any development work begins. QZT provides a quotation and timeline for the firmware engineering work.
Does QZT supply bare modules for integrator builds?
Yes. QZT supplies Tuya WiFi camera modules and DIY camera modules to integrators who build their own enclosures. The C10 Tuya module and the DIY Hidden Spy Camera Module are the standard module offerings. Documentation includes the module pinout, power specification, and app compatibility.
Can I get a sample of the OEM packaging before bulk?
Yes. QZT provides a pre-production OEM sample for sign-off before the full production run. The sample shows the printed logo, packaging material, and assembled product fit. The buyer confirms the sample before QZT releases bulk production.
